Caution: Don't Drive On Lake Minnetonka Today
A picture is worth a thousand words, but we only need six; don't drive on Lake Minnetonka today.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) wants to keep today's lesson short and to the point: don't drive on Lake Minnetonka.
The ice that is close to shore, along with the ice on several bays and channels, is melting and cannot support a vehicle.
Thankfully, no one was injured when the front of a truck went through the ice Thursday, according to HCSO.
