Uber Driver Asked Teen Passenger for 'Quick Sex': Police

Police say a Twin Cities Uber driver forcibly took a teen girl to his home and asked her for "quick sex."

A Twin Cities Uber driver who allegedly took a teenage girl to his apartment for sex has been charged with false imprisonment.

On Aug. 4, Dahir Abdillahi Aden, 50, of Crystal, picked up the victim from North Minneapolis before also picking up her friend nearby.

Police say after Aden dropped the victim’s friend off at his destination in South Minneapolis, Aden then turned onto the highway, at which point the victim asked Aden where they were going.

During the ride, the victim sent messages to her friend to call the police. When they got to the apartment complex in West St. Paul, Aden kept telling the victim to “go inside, go inside to have quick sex.”

The victim said “no” and got out of the car.

“Come on now, we are running out of time. Let’s just go have sex,” Aden continued. Aden also told the victim to hang up her phone.

At one point, Aden attempted to take the victim’s phone away from her by pulling at it, but the victim was able to maintain possession of it, according to the complaint.

At approximately 6:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to the apartment complex on a report of a female being taken against her will.

Later, Aden was placed under arrest and searched. An officer found a "large amount of condoms" on Aden’s
person.
