Chicago, Brainerd Guns Recovered In MPLS Drug Investigation
Minneapolis police say they recovered three guns confirmed stolen out of Sioux Falls, Chicago and Brainerd.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minneapolis police say they recently recovered three guns confirmed stolen out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Chicago, Illinois, and Brainerd, Minnesota. While conducting a narcotics investigation involving the trafficking of heroin in northeast and north Minneapolis, the Second Precinct Community Response Team served a search warrant. Officers recovered four firearms including a loaded AR-15 rifle. Three of the guns were stolen out of Sioux Falls, Chicago and Brainerd, according to police.
Authorities say the arrested person is a convicted felon, and therefore prohibited from being in possession of firearms or ammunition. Officers say they also recovered digital scales and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
