City Of Minneapolis Completes Redistricting

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Charter Commission Wednesday approved new boundaries for 13 City Council wards and the six Park and Recreation districts.

These two maps can be viewed on the city website.

The Charter Commission updates the boundaries of ward and park districts every 10 years, once the results of the United States Census are published.

The City Council must now sign off on updated election precincts and polling place locations, which will go into effect ahead of the 2022 elections.

All registered voters in Minneapolis will receive information about their new ward, precinct, and polling place in the mail before the Aug. 9 primary.
