Colorado State Football at Minnesota, College Football: Everything You Need to Know

Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minnesota had an off week to prepare for Colorado State and figures to enter Saturday’s game brimming with confidence.

The Gophers beat Oregon State 30-23 in Week One and trounced Indiana State 58-28 in Week Two.

Meanwhile, the Rams rebounded from a thorough 44-7 beating from Colorado to start the year with victories over the University of Texas San Antonio and Northern Colorado.

The Gophers are a step up in class from those two teams, though. Quarterback Mitch Leidner paced Minnesota’s offense against the Sycamores with 295 yards passing and 4 touchdowns and should be a difficult matchup for the Rams. Not to be outdone, Rams quarterback Collin Hill threw for 315 yards last Saturday and 4 touchdowns.

These teams squared off a year ago and Minnesota edged host Colorado State 23-20 in overtime. With this meeting taking place in Minneapolis, and the Gophers appearing to be improved over their 2015 incarnation, Minnesota is expected to remain unbeaten.
