Coronavirus: 115 Cases Now In Minnesota Across 21 Counties

TWIN CITIES, MN — The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus known as COVID-19 increased to 115 in Minnesota Friday. That number is up from 89 Thursday.

There are now 21 counties in Minnesota with at least one case. They include Anoka, Benton, Blue Earth, Carver, Chisago, Clay, Dakota, Filmore, Hennepin, Martin, Mower, Nicollet, Olmsted, Ramsey, Renville, Rice, Scott, Stearns, Waseca, Washington, and Wright.

About two weeks have passed since Minnesota's first COVID-19 case was confirmed. A total of 3,856 patients have been tested so far at the Minnesota Department of Health Public Health Lab. No deaths have occurred.
