Coronavirus: 35 Cases In Minnesota, 1,422 Tested
The number of COVID-19 cases continues to climb daily in Minnesota.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus known as COVID-19 climbed to 35 in Minnesota by Sunday. The cases are now in the counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Olmsted, Ramsey, Renville, Stearns, Waseca, Washington, and Wright.
Nine days have passed since Minnesota's first COVID-19 case was confirmed. A total of 1,422 patients have been tested so far. No deaths have occurred.

On Sunday, Gov. Tim Walz signed Executive Order 20-02, authorizing the temporary closure of Minnesota K-12 public schools to students in order for school administrators and teachers to make long-term plans for the continuity of education and essential services during the spread of COVID-19.

"My top priority as Governor is the safety of Minnesotans. As a former teacher, and father of two teenage kids, I'm especially focused on the safety of our children," said Walz in a statement.
