Crash Kills Unbelted 22-Year-Old, Baby And Teen Survive
Both the driver and a 19-year-old passenger were unbelted in a fatal crash that occurred after the vehicle skid through a stop sign.

A 22-year-old was killed and a teen was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Itasca County Saturday after their vehicle hit a patch of ice and went through an intersection.
Lorin Allen Losh was driving a Chrysler Town and Country minivan, traveling eastbound on Itasca County Road 28 approaching Highway 6, when the vehicle skid through a stop sign, began to roll, and struck a power pole with the roof of the vehicle.
The vehicle came to rest on the passenger side after hitting the pole. The fatal crash occurred at 6:12 p.m. Saturday.

Road conditions were reported as snowy and icy.
Losh was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Savannah Ellen Hinsz, 19, who was also unbelted, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A baby, Nina Ellona Losh, was in the car at the time but did not suffer any injury in the crash.
