Creative Kidstuff Will Close All 6 Twin Cities Stores

The local chain of toy stores will shut down after 37 years of business.

TWIN CITIES, MN — A local chain of toy stores is closing in the Twin Cities after 37 years. A liquidation sale will begin at all six of the company's locations starting today.

The stores will close June 30.

"Our mission has always been making play joyful, educational, creative and inspiring," Roberta Bonoff, chief executive of Creative Kidstuff, told the Star Tribune in a statement.

Creative Kidstuff has locations in Linden Hills, the Edina Galleria, The Shops at the West End in St. Louis Park, on Grand Avenue in Saint Paul, in the Ridgedale Mall in Minnetonka, and in the Mall of America.
