Lily Peters Case: Father Of Teen Charged Has Child Porn Conviction, Report Says

CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI — The father of the 14-year-old boy charged with killing and sexually assaulting Iliana "Lily" Peters was once convicted of possessing child pornography, according to a report.

The boy has grown up in a "chaotic" environment caused by custody battles and his father's time in prison, among other factors, the Star Tribune reported.

In 2016, the father was charged with 10 counts of possessing child pornography, according to the newspaper.

Police said the man had downloaded images of nude, prepubescent girls, including one where his own image was superimposed. The custody battle between the boy's mother and father began soon after the charges were filed.
