Here are some of the comments supporters left on the petition:
chengla xiong: "Mr.Pratt is a awesome person, and has helped me through soo much. i can only return the favor."
Mary Vollmar II: "This is necessary to keep one of the most devoted people I've ever met at his home."
Steve Longman: I have known Dan Pratt for over 40 years. He's been a constant and continuous supporter of WHS athletics since his playing days in the late 70's. Dan had been incredibly effective as AD over the years and the public support he now enjoys speaks loudly to his commitment. The loss of Dan would be a sad day for WHS.
Linda Maus: "Dan is Washburn!"
As far as the school demonstration goes, Washburn student-athlete Felicia McRae reportedly told WCCO-AM students are willing to be suspended to help save Pratt's job. "We're trying to support someone we love and care about," she told the station.
