Dangerously Cold: Wind Chill Advisory Issued for Minnesota
The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills are on tap for tonight, followed by a winter storm Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. A wind chill advisory is in place for Wednesday night, with a winter storm watch for Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.
Expect wind chills to range from near 25 below zero to 30 below zero between 9 p.m. Wednesday evening and 9 a.m. Thursday, with the coldest wind chills occurring around 6 a.m. Thursday.

Snow is possible from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches are possible. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph could cause patchy blowing and drifting snow.

Plan on difficult driving conditions, including during the evening commute on Friday.
