Noodles & Company Data Breach includes Minnesota Locations

The breach includes 44 locations in Minnesota​ and 37 in Wisconsin.

Minneapolis, MN — A data breach may have compromised payment information for Noodles & Company customers who used debit or credit cards between Jan. 31, 2016 and June 2, 2016.

Kare 11 reported the breach includes 44 locations in Minnesota and 37 locations in Wisconsin.

Hackers may have obtained cardholder information including name, card number, expiration date and CVV.

“Noodles & Company takes the security of our guests’ information extremely seriously, and we apologize for the inconvenience this incident has caused our guests,” said Kevin Reddy, chairman and CEO of Noodles & Company.

The company began investigating unusual activity on its credit card processor May 17 and immediately started working with experts to find out if the system had been compromised.

On June 2, the company said it found "suspicious activity" that indicated a possible breach.

The company states that credit and debit cards used at the affected locations are no longer at risk but asks customers to monitor their credit and debit transactions.
