Deer Crashes Through Windshield, Injures Northern Minnesota Man
A 45-year-old Minnesota man was injured Wednesday evening after a deer went through his windshield and hit him.
A 45-year-old Minnesota man was injured Wednesday evening after a deer went through his windshield and hit him after his vehicle collided with it on Highway 32 in Excel Township, Marshall County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Steven Ray Gross, of Salol, Minnesota, was driving a 2012 Ford Van southbound on Highway 32 when he was struck by a deer that was previously hit by another vehicle, a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo.
Authorities say the deer came through the windshield of the Ford Van and struck Gross.

Gross was transported to a hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Monte Carlo, 20-year-old Douglas Scott Peterson of Thief River Falls, was not injured in the incident.
