"Discover Blake" Community Events November 10 and 17

Academic excellence is the core of The Blake School experience and the foundation of student success in college and beyond.

Academic excellence is the core of The Blake School experience and the foundation of student success in college and beyond. The Blake School invites families to learn more about Blake — our faculty and students, our programs, and what makes us unique. Please join us at our Discover Blake community events on Monday, November 10 in Maple Grove or Monday, November 17 in Minnetonka.

The Blake School seeks a talented, motivated and economically diverse student body and believes the cost of an independent school education should not be a barrier to prospective families. If you’ve ever considered sending your children to an independent, college-preparatory school but have wondered about affordability, Blake invites you to its Financial Assistance Workshop at our Hopkins campus on Saturday, January 10.

Blake is one of the strongest coeducational, college-preparatory independent schools in the nation. For more than 114 years, Blake has provided a rigorous academic experience and a supportive community that have prepared our graduates for successful lives in an interconnected world. Located on three campuses, Blake enrolls 1,363 students who come to us from more than 55 communities in and around the Twin Cities.

Featuring a preeminent faculty, our school combines the individual caring of a small school with the challenging programs and superior facilities of a larger one. From pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, Blake students contribute to the life of the school in a variety of areas including the arts, athletics, leadership and service.

Commitment to affordability is evidenced by Blake’s strong need-based financial assistance program: $4.8 million is awarded to approximately 19 percent of the student body.

All admissions and financial assistance applications must be received by January 31, 2015.

For directions or more information, please visit www.blakeschool.org or call the Blake Admissions Office at (952) 988-3420.
