Chalk Talk: Teachers' Take on Education Policies

The classroom teacher works at the intersection of complex and ever-changing federal, state and local education policies and the nuts-and-bolts world of helping students learn.


Chalk Talk: Teachers' Take on Education Policy offers a panel of teachers with varying experiences and viewpoints to discuss how educaiton policies affect work in the classroom. Come join us for a candid discussion on Thursday, October 4, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church, Guild Hall, 1900 Nicollet Ave. South.


Topics will range from teacher evaluation policies to testing, and more.  Speakers are:

James Kindle, English Language Learner teacher at Anne Sullivan Elementary, union steward, and member of Empowering Educators for Equity.
