Join us for a special performance featuring James Cadwell, local singer/songwriter.
James Cadwells Bio:
I'm a singer/songwriter that cites Carol King, John Fogerty and James Burton as my pop music heros. I have very diverse influences; envision Roger Miller and Lefty Frizzell’s love child listening to Chuck Berry, Buffalo Springfield, Blind Blake, Muddy Waters, Spade Cooley... and Merle Travis on the radio while Richard and Mimi Fariña babysit. I've been mostly associated with acoustic music as a long time member and co-founder of the Bluegrass/Americana group "The Prairie Wheels" which included George Rothenberger and Russ Rayfield as core members. Associated with The Wheels at various times were Janine Kemmer, Kitty Gunn, Dave Tousley, Steve Howard and Mark Brier on bass, and Rick Anderson on guitar and banjo. Before focusing on acoustic sound I played guitar with "Lake Street Legend" a cover band that embraced the sound of the early Stones with emphasis on blues, soul and Motown.
