If your cat is going to the litterbox a lot and seems to be straining to urinate they could be having urinary issues. Some male cats can develop a life threatening urinary blockage. If your cat is constantly going to the litterbox and very little or no urine is coming out, you need to bring your cat to the veterinarian. This would be something that you should go to the emergency clinic if it is after hours.
