Flight to Minneapolis Makes Emergency Landing in Chicago
An American Airlines plane on its way to Minneapolis made an emergency landing at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport Wednesday.
An American Airlines plane flying to Minneapolis made an emergency landing at Chicago's O’Hare International Airport Wednesday. American Airlines Flight 1855, flying form Charlotte to Minneapolis, was diverted to O'Hare Airport and landed safely around 4:15 p.m., according to the Chicago Fire Department and the Department of Aviation.
American Airlines said an indicator light in the cockpit reported a possible mechanical issue, NBC Chicago reported. The Chicago Fire Department reported that the plane was undergoing "hydraulic problems."
