Former Minnesota Twins Player Found Safe
Police in Woodstock, Georgia are say Otis Nixon, who played outfield for the Twins in 1998, has been found safe.
UPDATE: Otis Nixon has been located and is safe, Woodstock police report. "We appreciate the assistance from the public and media," they said in a statement.
Police in Woodstock, Georgia are requesting the public's assistance in locating Otis Nixon, 58. He was last seen leaving his residence in Woodstock around 10:00 am Saturday morning in a gray 2011 Range Rover with GA tag CFP9010, according to police. Nixon spent 17 years in Major League Baseball, and played for the Minnesota Twins in 1998.
He left wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black sweatpants, a black baseball cap, and black Adidas shoes with white stripes. He left for a tee time at a local golf course, but never arrived, authorities say.
