MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Minnesota Vikings will kick off the 2016 preseason Friday with an away game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The team will play the first home game in the new U.S. Bank Stadium for its third preseason matchup against the San Diego Chargers Aug. 28.
Coach Mike Zimmer expects quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to "let it loose" more in his third season now that the team has added offensive weapons, including 6-foot-2, 221-pound wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.
