Grateful: MN State Troopers Help Kid At Children’s Hospital

This was definitely a unique request, but one Minnesota's state troopers say they were happy to help with.

FERGUS FALLS, MN — This was definitely a unique request, but one Minnesota's state troopers say they were happy to help with.

Earlier this month, Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls transferred a young child with severe respiratory distress to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

Unfortunately, a set of imaging data was inadvertently left behind. Doctors at Children’s Hospital did not want to expose the child again for a second round of imaging.

Instead, doctors asked the Minnesota State Patrol to transport this important information from one hospital to another.

Dispatchers and troopers in three districts assisted and successfully delivered the images in three hours.

The hospital staff and family say they were very grateful for the assistance.
