Group Of 8 To 10 Men Assault, Rob U Of M Student: Police
The men stole a backpack and damaged the student's iPhone, authorities said.

MINNEAPOLIS — Authorities say a University of Minnesota-Twin Cities student was assaulted and robbed by a group of eight to 10 men early Sunday. On Oc. 28, the university's police department responded to a reported robbery that occurred at about 1:50 a.m. near Ferguson Hall on the West Bank.
The victim was walking when they were approached and pushed down by the group of men, police said. The suspects physically assaulted the victim, stole their backpack and damaged their iPhone, according to authorities.
No weapons were seen and the victim suffered minor injuries. He described the suspects as Hispanic men in their teens and 20s.
