Hail Possible In Wednesday Thunderstorms: MN Weather
The chance of precipitation throughout the Twin Cities metro is up to 90 percent for Wednesday afternoon. Storms will last into Thursday.
TWIN CITIES, MN — A "hazardous weather outlook" has been issued across the Twin Cities metro area as thunderstorms are expected Wednesday afternoon. Hail, lightning, and high winds are all possible, according to the National Weather Service:
This strong thunderstorm will be near... Lakeville and Farmington around 1150 AM CDT. Burnsville, Apple Valley and Rosemount around 1200 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Bloomington, Eagan, Richfield, Inver Grove Heights, MSP International Airport, St. Paul, South St. Paul, West St. Paul and Mendota Heights.
The chance of precipitation in the metro is up to 90 percent, with as much as half an inch falling in the afternoon, and another half inch falling overnight.
