Holiday Family Events Planned at Chanhassen Garden Center
The Garden By The Woods welcomes the holiday season with activities for all ages.

As the temperatures fall, the anticipation for the holidays rises and The Garden By the Woods in Chanhassen has again created a number of holiday activities for families to enjoy throughout the season. From holiday classes for adults, to gingerbread house workshops for kids, there’s something for everyone to get into the festive spirit. And of course, Santa has planned a visit.
The activities start in November with Holiday Planters classes on November 15, Wreath Wednesdays starting November 19 and scheduled every week through December 17. Thanksgiving Centerpiece classes and the Elf Workshop Grand Opening take place November 22 and 23 which will offer families a fun destination throughout the season. Scout Day is planned for Saturday, December 13 when all scout groups are invited and will learn how to use trunks from Christmas trees for fire starters. The holiday season would not be complete without a visit from Santa on Sunday, December 14. The Garden by the Woods is located at 78 W 78th St. in Chanhassen, near the corner of Hwy 101 and Hwy 5 and offers great selection of Christmas trees, spruce tops and other unique holiday décor.
“Our holiday activities offer a great opportunity for families to enjoy the holiday season,” said owner, Laura Wood. “We love this time of year and offering these activities to the community is another way we can share our unique store.”
