Hopkins Man Drove Drunk With 1-Year-Old In His Lap: Police
Authorities said they received a report of a man letting a child drive an SUV near Main Street in Hopkins.

HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — Police say a Hopkins man was found driving drunk with a 1-year-old in his lap. Domonic Eugene Green, 31, faces a DWI and child endangerment charge.
On July 7, police received a report of a man letting a child drive an SUV near Main Street and 5th Avenue North, according to the criminal complaint. When they pulled Green over, neither he nor the child were wearing seatbelts, authorities said.
Police said the Green had bloodshot eyes and that his speech was slurred, KSTP reported.

When asked how much he had to drink, Green said "I'm not even circumference to do that," according to KARE 11.
Green refused to do a field sobriety tests or a breath test and was arrested, authorities said.

Green lost his driving privileges in January for driving under the influence of alcohol, police state. He was convicted of another DWI earlier this month.
