HR Green to perform work in Washington County

HR Green has been chosen by Washington County, MN to deliver preliminary and final highway design for intersection and pavement improvements

HR Green is pleased to announce it has been chosen by Washington County, MN to deliver preliminary and final highway design for intersection and pavement improvements on Olinda Boulevard North/47th Street North (CSAH 14) and Osgood Avenue North (CSAH 24) in Baytown Township. Nicole Peterson, PE, PMP will serve as Project Manager.

“We are pleased to be working in Washington County once again,” said Peterson. “The team we have assembled will provide the resources and talent needed to complete this consequential transportation project.”

Recent modifications to the rail crossing made by Union Pacific Rail have created a safety concern near the notable intersection of CSAH 14 and CSAH 24. This project will create a safer intersection and corridor by reconstructing the roadway profile that meets County and CSAH standards.

While the purpose of this project is to improve safety and operations for the project area, a secondary need of this project is to minimize potential environmental impacts. Being located in the Middle St. Croix watershed, this project will be subject to water quality requirements that affect how stormwater is managed.
