I-94 Crash Kills 2 In Minneapolis

The single-car crash killed a 22-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man Sunday night.

MINNEAPOLIS — Two people died Sunday night in a single-car crash on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis. Authorities said just before 9:30 p.m, a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling southbound on the highway when it took the exit for 4th Street.

The car went off the roadway toward the east median between I-94 and the exit. The vehicle collided with a bridge abutment, police said. The Minnesota State Patrol said it's not clear if alcohol was a factor in the collision.

The crash killed the driver, Antwanika Quatanae Myles, 22, and passenger Tyrone Derese Watkins, 20. Both were residents of Anoka.
