Infant Found Alone At Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport: BCA

The baby girl was eventually reunited with her mother, thanks to the public's help, according to authorities.

MINNEAPOLIS — Police say that an infant is safe and reunited with her mother after the child was found alone at about 9 p.m. at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Sunday.

The approximately 10-month-old child was found "with a person in crisis," the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension tweeted just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities were not sure where the child's parent or guardian was.

However, just before 2 a.m. Wednesday, the BCA tweeted that "MSP Airport PD has canceled the alert regarding the unidentified child. The child has been identified and her mother has been found safe."

Authorities said that they were able to connect with the child's family thanks to the public's help.
