Jimmy Butler's scary injury happened during Friday's 120-102 loss to the Houston Rockets.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minnesota Timberwolves fans fearing the worst can breath a sigh of relief, for now. All-star forward Jimmy Butler did not tear his ACL during Friday's 120-102 loss to the Houston Rockets.
The team announced that an MRI taken Saturday afternoon on Butler’s right knee revealed a "meniscal injury." The evaluation was conducted by the team's orthopedic surgeon Dr. Diane Dahm at the Mayo Clinic.
Whether Butler will be able to return before the playoffs is still unknown, but the Wolves will miss him regardless. In 56 games this season, Butler averaged 22.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and five assists.
