Justine Damond's Life To Be Celebrated At Public Memorial
The family of an Australian woman who was fatally shot by Minneapolis police last month is organizing a public memorial for her.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The family of an Australian woman who was fatally shot by Minneapolis police last month is organizing a public memorial for her, taking place Friday. The life of southwest Minneapolis resident Justine Damond will be celebrated at 7 p.m. at Lake Harriet Park's band shell (4135 W Lake Harriet Pkwy, Minneapolis).
"We will honor and celebrate the life Justine lived as she inspires so many as an example of living a life of love and generosity," the family said in a statement. You can donate to the Justine Damond Memorial Fund here.
