Notoriously Bumpy Kings Highway: Rehabilitation Timeline

A notoriously bumpy stretch of road in Minneapolis is getting an upgrade.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A notoriously bumpy stretch of road is getting an upgrade. Pavement rehabilitation work will begin in late June of this year for the segment of Kings Highway from 36th Street west to 42nd Street west, and wrap up within a few weeks after. In addition there is a small segment of 42nd Street west extension that will be renovated this year as well.

Assuming funding levels remain the same, the remainder of the Kings Highway will be renovated in 2018, according to the Minneapolis Park Board.
