WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, called the Senate's confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court a "historic moment for our nation."

"With bipartisan support, the Senate has voted for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to join the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice, bringing with her nine years of judicial experience as well as experience as a working mom, family member of law enforcement officers, daughter of teachers, former public defender, and a deeply committed public servant," Klobuchar said.

"Today, little boys and girls across the country are being shown that anything and everything is possible."
