Lake Street McDonalds Admits To Underpaying Employees: Report
The Minneapolis McDonalds location did not adhere to the city's new $10 minimum wage, according to investigators.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights investigation found the 210 East Lake Street McDonalds underpaid 51 employees for more than two months this year. The location did not adhere to the city’s new $10 minimum wage which went into effect in January, resulting in $2,078 in lost wages, according to city documents.
A McDonald’s spokeswoman admitted to the Star Tribune that franchise owner Connie Williams underpaid employees, but said it was an honest mistake.
"This was an inadvertent error that we corrected immediately, and [we] have not received a notice or otherwise from the City of Minneapolis," Anne Christensen told the newspaper
