Large Car Fire Erupts in South Minneapolis
Video shows a vehicle totally engulfed in flames in Minneapolis Monday, causing black smoke to rise well above the tree line.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A large car fire erupted at about 11:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of 40th Street and Wentworth in the Minneapolis neighborhood of Kingfield. The vehicle, a red four-door sedan, became totally engulfed in flames, causing black smoke to cross the street and rise well above the tree line.
Minneapolis fire crews rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire in a matter of seconds. Police also arrived on scene.
Minneapolis police told Patch the fire started in the engine of the vehicle, and no foul play is suspected.
