Late-Night Hosts Riff On Garrison Keillor, Minnesota Public Radio

Late-night comedy hosts skewered Garrison Keillor after he was fired from Minnesota Public Radio for "inappropriate behavior."

After the news of his firing from Minnesota Public Radio made national headlines, Garrison Keillor became the subject of late-night comedy Wednesday. Jimmy Kimmel, known for taking on everyone from President Donald Trump to Kim Kardashian in his monologues, targeted the Prairie Home Companion host on his ABC show.

"Can you imagine being fired from MPR? It's like having your library card revoked," Kimmel joked. "It's all very confusing because you look at a guy like Garrison Keillor and you think, this is a guy who can have any woman he wants."

Kimmel wasn't the only talk show host to skew Keillor.

Conan O’Brien joked, "Not just Matt Lauer — former Prairie Home Companion host Garrison Keillor has been fired by Minnesota Public Radio over allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior. Keillor issued an apology to his three living fans." O’Brien later made a half-hearted attempted at a Minnesota accent.
