Lowry Hill Tunnel Reopened After I-94 Crash
All lanes of Interstate 94 westbound were blocked at the Lowry Hill Tunnel Thursday morning following a crash in Minneapolis.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Interstate 94 has been cleared after a crash in the Lowry Hill Tunnel closed all westbound lanes Thursday morning. The crash resulted in backups extending eastward all the way into Saint Paul. The lanes were reopened just before 9:30 a.m., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The crash involved three vehicles and a small fire, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. There were injuries reported, but none were serious or fatal.
