Mall Of America Goes Into Lockdown After Shooting: Police

BLOOMINGTON, MN — Bloomington police officers and emergency medical crews responded to a shooting at the Mall Of America Friday night.

The mall went into lockdown at about 8 p.m. following the shooting. The scene was secured by 10 p.m., and the lockdown was lifted.

Bloomington police said they are working with mall security and Hennepin County's crime lab to process the area. Police continue to ask people to stay out of the area "until further notice."
