Man Dies in Late Shooting in Minneapolis Friday Night
Police are asking anyone with information to text their anonymous tip line.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Police officers from Minneapolis' 4th Precinct responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 2900 block of Morgan Avenue North, just before midnight Friday.
When officers arrived they located an adult male on the sidewalk that had been shot. North Memorial Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male dead, according to a news release.

Officers from the 4th Precinct will be canvassing the neighborhood in the coming days looking for information. Police encourage the community to talk with officers.
Anyone with information is encouraged by police to text their tip into 847411 (TIP411). Enter MPD, a space, and then the information. These text messages are assigned a tip number and the police department has no way of identifying the source of the information. All texts are anonymous.
