Marijuana Candy, $15,700, Other Drugs Found After Crash: Minneapolis Police
Police say officers and investigators located marijuana, LSD, Xanax, marijuana candy, and marijuana wax following a vehicle crash Friday.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – One male was booked into the Hennepin County Jail for probable cause felony narcotics violations following a vehicle crash late last week.
On Friday, March 24, just before 10:00 a.m., officers from the Minneapolis Second Precinct responded to a property damage crash on Broadway Avenue Northeast and Marshall Avenue Northeast.
Authorities say the driver of one of the cars, a 33-year-old male, was found to be in possession of a large quantity of marijuana, as well as prescription medication that was not in the original bottle.

Possession of marijuana and possession of prescription medication when it is not in the proper container are violations of Minnesota’s controlled substance laws, according to police.
Officers at the scene contacted the Second Precinct Community Response Team who continued the investigation by conducting a search warrant at the arrested male’s house.

After a complete search of the arrested male’s vehicle and house was completed, police say the officers and investigators had located more marijuana, LSD, Xanax, marijuana candy, marijuana wax.
According to police, investigators also seized $15,700 cash and the vehicle the male was driving in the crash.
