MINNEAPOLIS — Tuesday is Election Day, and voters who plan to cast their ballots in person should check on their face mask and other COVID-19 safety requirements.

Masking requirements are different based on each city. There is no statewide mask mandate in effect.

In Minneapolis, under the city's emergency regulation, everyone over the age of two must wear a face covering while inside the polling place regardless of vaccination status. Disposable masks are available and will be given out for free to those who did not bring a mask.
