Minneapolis Man Drove High In Wisconsin With 3-Year-Old: Police

The 22-year-old was arrested on Interstate 94.

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Wisconsin say a Minneapolis man was driving while high on drugs on Interstate 94 westbound. The driver, 22, had a 3-year-old child in the car, according to police.

On Sunday just before 10:30 p.m., a Wisconsin state trooper stopped a car for drifting between lanes. The trooper smelled marijuana while approaching the vehicle, authorities said.

The driver, Javonta Williams, was tested and then arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs, according to police.
