MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Jacob Frey, the 36-year-old mayor of Minneapolis, wants to welcome football fans from around the world coming to Minnesota for Sunday's Super Bowl at U.S. Bank Stadium. That is, as long as you're not from Philadelphia.
The Eagles drubbed the Vikings 38-7 in the NFC Championship, and Minnesotans fans weren't happy about their treatment during their visit in the "City of Brother Love."
Eagles fans used vulgar language toward Millie, a 99-year-old Vikings fan, and were seen on video throwing full beer cans at the Vikings fans and the team's bus. Those antics may explain how Frey describes Eagles fans in a new "welcome" video with Sports Illustrated.

"We've got it all here in Minneapolis," Frey tells visitors. "We embrace the winter in a big way. So it doesn't matter if it's negative 10 or negative 20, or 32 degrees outside. We're outside, having a ball."
"A big welcome to the Patriots and Eagles fans," Frey continues. "For the Eagles fans, don’t worry, we’re going to be greasing all the lamp posts so you will feel right at home," Frey joked, referencing the tactic used in Philadelphia to deter rambunctious fans from climbing street posts.

"Are we seriously welcoming the (bleep) Eagles fans?" Frey later yells to someone off camera in an outtake.
The video is all in good fun, so laugh along and enjoy your stay, Eagles fans.
