Minneapolis Police Searching For Bias-Motivated Stabbing Suspect
Witnesses said that before and during the assault near 2001 Nicollet Ave. S., the suspect was shouting racial slurs at the victim.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minneapolis police are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in a bias-motivated stabbing that occurred June 17. According to police, the stabbing took place in the area near 2001 Nicollet Ave. S.
Officers responded to the scene and found an adult male with serious slash wounds to his arm and stomach, according to a release. Witnesses said before and during the assault, the suspect was shouting racial slurs at the victim.
The suspect, who fled the scene, is described as a Native American or Hispanic male wearing a gray baseball hat, light-colored blue jeans and a red T-shirt. He has tattoos on his left arm and stomach.
