Oh, Ya? The Minnesota Accent Ranked 3rd-Least Sexy

MINNESOTA — We're not sure if these people have ever heard a Minnesota accent outside of watching the Coen brother's "Fargo," but our way of speaking makes for the third-least sexiest accent in America. That's according to bigseventravel.com, which conducted a poll of its 1.5 million social media followers.

Do we think they're wrong? Oh ya, you betcha.

But the Minnesotan accent placed 48th out of the 50 accents ranked. We placed only in front of the New Jersey and the Long Islander accents.

Minnesotans were beat out by the neighboring Milwaukee accent (29th-sexiest) and the Chicago accent (5th-sexiest).

"Texan" is apparently the nation's sexiest accent.
