Minnesota Coronavirus Cases Top 11K; Deaths At 578
See the latest information on the new coronavirus from the Minnesota Department of Health.

ACROSS MINNESOTA — The Minnesota Department of Health on Sunday reported 481 new positive cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. There is now a total of 11,271 confirmed cases in the state.
The department also reported an additional 20 deaths. At least 395 Minnesotans have died from COVID-19.
The highest concentration of cases remains in Hennepin County, which reported 3,558 cases and 389 deaths Saturday.

The most impacted Minnesota counties include:
- Nobles County: 1,255 cases, 2 deaths
- Stearns County: 1,405 cases, 5 deaths
- Ramsey County: 920 cases, 45 deaths
- Anoka County: 549 cases, 29 deaths
- Dakota County: 430 cases, 15 deaths
- Olmsted County: 368 cases, 9 deaths
- Kandiyohi County: 284 cases, 1 death
- Washington County: 247 cases, 15 deaths
- Clay County: 235 cases, 17 deaths
- Scott County: 140 cases, 1 death
- Rice County: 114 cases, 1 death
- Martin County: 112 cases, 4 deaths
- Sherburne County: 109 cases, 1 death
- Wright County: 102 cases, 1 death

Total cases requiring hospitalization: 1,657

Patients no longer needing isolation: 6,882
Gender: 49 percent female, 49 percent male, <1 percent other, 2 percent unknown/missing
Health care workers who have contracted the virus: 1360
