Minnesota Coronavirus Data: Counties With Confirmed Cases
The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus increased to 287 in Minnesota Wednesday. Here are the counties where they are.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus increased to 287 in Minnesota Wednesday. That number is up from 262 Tuesday. There has been one death so far in the state from COVID-19.
MDH believes there are more cases in Minnesota than just the confirmed ones, and that the virus is circulating in communities. Officials say it is important for everyone to follow advice on community mitigation and social distancing to help flatten the case curve.

- Approximate number of completed tests from external laboratories: 5110
- Total cases requiring hospitalization: 35

Health officials say they will not release specific locations for any patients being tested in order to protect their privacy.
A total of 1,897 calls to the MDH public hotline March 23. The public hotline is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The number is (651) 201-3920.
Nearly 800,000 visits were made to MDH COVID-19 website on March 23.
