The 2017 All-Star third baseman was involved in a traffic incident Sunday morning, according to multiple reports.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins are investigating after reports surfaced that All-Star third baseman Miguel Sano was arrested in the Dominican Republic Sunday morning.
Sano, 25, is a native of the Dominican Republic. He returned to the country after the Twins finished their season last week.
According to the Star Tribune, Dominican Republic newspaper El Nuevo Diario reported that a police officer suffered a fractured leg in an incident involving Sano. The officer reportedly told Sano to stop at a checkpoint, but Sano continued driving and ran the officer over.
