Minnesota Weather: Election Day 2018 Forecast

MINNESOTA — You may have to get through rain and snow showers on your way to the polls Tuesday. Election Day will feature plenty of precipitation in the Twin Cities.

Here's Tuesday's full forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday: A chance of rain and snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 39. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tuesday Night: A chance of rain before 8 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., then a chance of snow after 10 p.m.. Cloudy, with a low around 29. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Here's the forecast for the rest of the week:

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow before 7 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 35. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. West wind around 5 mph.

Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest after midnight.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 7 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 30. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 30. South wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight.

Veterans Day: A 20 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
