Minnesota Weather: Frost Advisory Issued For Twin Cities Metro
Widespread frost is likely in the Twin Cities and across central Minnesota Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Frost has landed in parts of Minnesota, and it might be coming to your town. The National Weather Service Wednesday issued a frost advisory for the Twin Cities metro area and much of central Minnesota.
The advisory will go into effect tonight. As temperatures approach 32 degrees, sensitive outdoor vegetation will die if left uncovered.

Wednesday Night: Patchy frost after 4am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 37. Calm wind.
Thursday: Patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 65. Light southeast wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Friday Night: Showers likely, then showers and thunderstorms after 8pm. Low around 55. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Saturday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
